Quotes from Jeannie Fulbright

I thought “If this is how a homeschooled kid turns out…they are so comfortable in their own skin…that’s what I want for my kids.

You know how when you’re in the center of God’s will you feel the energy, you feel the excitement, you feel the ‘rightness’ of it? That is exactly how I felt writing [the Apologia science curriculum].

It took years for the Lord to begin to grow faith in me and to believe that every word in the Bible is true. That is not something that you just take as fact, it is something that the Lord God has to build in you.

I thought ‘I have to give [my daughter] evidence for creation.” That was one of the things that just burned in me to create these books. I thought “I’m going to create a space curriculum.”…I was going to write the astronomy curriculum for my children to build their faith.

I thought “I want my children to know this stuff, and I’m going to write it in a way, in a narrative, that engages them, that actually grows their faith.” I wanted them to believe the truth and to see the evidence, to be able to explain to others the evidence for creation.

My heart has been to create fiction. I had this inspirational idea…to start creating a historical fiction time travel series for kids.

It is historical fiction but it is scientific and Biblical facts being weaved into the story.

Nature benefits children academically, socially, and emotionally.
