Quotes from Heidi St. John

7:20 I’m always telling moms to work on something that can carry you into the next season of your life.

12:07 The truth is our country is in terrible trouble. I do not think our country can survive even five more years of the assault that the democrats are launching against the foundations of our country, against the things we hold dear, against our beliefs. You name it. We are under attack.

12:35 We counted the cost. We decided that our country is worth fighting for.

13:10 America is the last great nation on the face of the Earth. [Each state] is only one legislative cycle away from absolutely losing our freedoms.

14:45 Whenever the good leaves, evil always fills the vacuum. We have this vacuous need in our nation for people of integrity to rise to positions of authority.

15:45 Conservatives are not fighters by nature because we’re not activists. We just love the country. While we were minding our own business…and taking care of our lives, the left has been systematically destroying the foundation of this nation.

16:11 Get involved! Run for city council. Find out what’s happening in your neighborhood. Get on your school boards. It is ridiculous to me that the left has highjacked this while the people on the right are taking a nap! We can’t ignore this anymore.

17:00 We are a Republic, not a Democracy. There is a big difference…Democracies lead to tyranny. We need to be honest about it.

19:40 This is the tactic of Satan since the dawn of time: discourage, distract, divide, defeat. That’s where we are right now. We can not give up! America is worth fighting for.

21:00 We have a crisis of courage in this nation and it’s going to take courage. It takes courage because what we have is mob rule right now. Cancel culture is nothing but the mob.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is walking ahead in spite of fear.

26 Most of the issues that are plaguing [misunderstanding of the 1st amendment] in this country right now are moral issues. The root problem is a moral problem and there is no one better equipped to handle those moral issues than the church. If our voices are silent, there is nobody speaking out. Then the only voice we hear is the voice of the mob.

25:20 We’ve got people in churches now who say “Oh, churches should never have anything to do with politics. Nothing can be farther from the truth!”

25:45 The First Amendment is about protecting our right to believe and place our faith and the government’s inability to tell us how to practice our faith.

Homeschooling is supposed to be governed by the state. This may be changing. We need a strong voice in congress. Education should constitutionally NOT be a federal issue but the federal gov has made it a federal issue. As a voice in Congress, I will be a strong advocate for choice! We must always have a choice.

29:05 I am a huge advocate for school choice. Of course, I believe that homeschooling is the very best option for our children, but I also understand that not everyone is going to want to do it or can do it.

41:40 We are just going to continue to pray that more people will want to get involved and that they’ll care enough to push past the apathy and push past the frustration and get out there and start saying this is important!

We are past the place where we have the option to take a stand or not. Everybody needs to get in the game. People need to stop pretending that this is neutral.

We need to pick a side and start working to defend it.
